I find it troubling that so many media personalities and even those speaking on behalf of the Sikh religion are so quick to point out that they’re not Islamic in light of what happened the other day. It just seems to allege that if what happened had happened at a mosque instead of a temple, it would have been more okay. Persecution is persecution no matter what way you slice and who is the target. It’s just as troubling when directed at Islam as when it is directed at other religions.
